"About to become a representative of Jesus Christ"

“Dear Elder Haruch, you are hereby called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You are assigned to labor in the Denmark Copenhagen Mission.  It is anticipated that you will serve for a period of 24 months."

(Nate opening his "Mission Call" letter)

"You should report to the Provo Mission Training Center on Wednesday, May 31, 2017.  You will prepare to teach the gospel in the Danish language."

Hey everyone! I will be set apart as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a representative of Jesus Christ in approximately one hour. It's amazing to see God's hand in my life and how it has guided me to this point. My decisions, the people I have surrounded myself with, and the growth of my testimony have all lead to this moment. Sounds like a big deal. That's exactly what it is. I know that there are those who are being prepared for me to teach in Denmark whom the Lord wants me to find.

I am grateful for all who have helped me get to where I am today. I love you all and want you to know that this is truly the Lord's work. The gospel is true. The Book of Mormon is true and was translated from gold plates by Joseph Smith who was a true prophet called by the Lord. May God be with you all till we meet again.

Ældste Haruch

(A deep breath of anticipation for the the next two years as he steps into the MTC.)
