Week 7: "Soo close to Germany I can.... see it!"

Sorry for not emailing last week! We flew in to Denmark on P-day (Preparation Day) and had so many Things to do and see!

(Denmark LOVES 7-Eleven)

Ok so I was just assigned to Sønderborg.. I think that's how you spell it.. and We are the closest area to Germany! I got so excited especially because when we baptize someone we have to go into Germany to do it because that is the closest baptismal font! woah. Tender mercies:) I get excited because that's where you served dad!:)

This place is beautiful. I love everyone. It is hard that hardly anybody cares to even listen to us for even five minutes.. but As long as we are leaving an impression of love to everyone we meet we will be successful. In our Apartment as I was cleaning and re organizing everything I found a Winnie the Pooh book and a Charlotte's Web book in Danish. I definitely thought of you mom :) good memories reading with you! haha but yeah.

Danish food is quite amazing. Great flavors sights and smells.

It's been so great to finally see Buildings and statues that I only saw in Pictures or videos! The people are fantastic. It rains.. a bit. The sun has been coming up at 4:30 in the morning and man there are many spiders everywhere.

Denmark is definitely the biking Capital of the World. EVERY city is modified for bikes. There are always bike lanes and even bike traffic lights. It's amazing. oh and the pastries are as good as they sound.. wish I could send some to you all. haha

(Bikes are everywhere!)

Everything I wanted to say about my area, the people, and other Things is on the latest recording!

One thing I would like to say to you all is to always remember to leave the impression of love on all you meet and see. As we have been repeatedly rejected by many people here in Denmark, my focus is to help them feel God's love. When they are trying to prove us wrong, argue with us, or maybe offer us drugs, I hope I will always smile, testify, and be their friend.

It is really nice to hardly know Danish when someone is angry at you for what ever reason and you don't understand what their saying. But the point is that, as children of God, we should always remind ourselves to do what the Savior would do if he were on the Earth and strive to leave the impression of love for all you may meet. It is hard when we someone may not want to talk for even five minutes because I know we have a message that can give them more hope, more love, and more Peace in their life.

(My companion, Ældste Weaver, and I)

I know this gospel is true. I invite you all to read The Book of Enos and think of a question or desire you have, and think of how Enos received his answer and what each of us must do to receive ours. I hope you all will have a fantastic day today!

Elsker,

     Ældste Haruch
